The essence of making a change

Change may sometimes start out as being difficult because the first step is always the scariest, but eventually it is for the best if we continue to focus on the final desired outcome.

When we are fixated on a target, everything else falls away as each step takes us closer to our goal, and the path to the final destination will unveil itself.

Whenever I was in a difficult situation, my late Sanguine Savannah mom Joni, always reminded me of this. “What the caterpillar refers to as the end of the world, the butterfly calls it as the beginning of a beautiful life.”
