Meet Johnny

Johnny Tan, founder of From My Mama’s Kitchen®, lives a life richly flavored by the unconditional love he had received from his 9 moms. As a business consultant, Johnny helps his clients manage their environmental elements with confidence and clarity. He coaches them to better leadership, master communication and improve customer service. He teaches practical strategies on how to stabilize and motivate their workforce, increase productivity resulting in improved net profits. As a leadership and keynote speaker, Johnny’s message is “personal success begins at home.” He teaches individuals practical strategies on how to use the power of unconditional love as potent leadership, and how to live a life of conscious choice through self-empowerment. He motivates people to create opportunities for themselves to leave a legacy of love.

In addition to his consultant and speaking activities, Johnny is a featured host of a weekly Internet radio program, FMMK Talk Radio. The show ranks in the top .1% of Blog Talk Radio’s most popular shows. Johnny’s leadership experience extends from being a former corporate executive for eight years to owning his own business. He also served his community as chairman of Baton Rouge Area Convention and Visitor Bureau in 2001, commissioner of Baton Rouge Sister Cities Commission in 2000, chairman of Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Committee in 1998, as well as chairman of Project Baton Rouge 2020—a Vision of Opportunity with a World of Possibility in 1997, and president of Louisiana Restaurant Association Baton Rouge Chapter in 1995.

Johnny is also an accomplished ballroom dancer with an amateur status. He has performed with his dance partners for more than 12 years at various ballroom and charity events in Louisiana and Texas. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
