Story GuidelinesRecipe for Living Story: All great recipes survive through the generations. Although some may be modified and refined to keep pace with the flavor and taste buds of today, they will continue to be handed down to future generations in each family. We truly appreciate your support and contribution in helping us bring motherly love to the global center stage. Every story is important as each one is sure to inspire others. We are looking for a true story about an inspirational recipe for living you have received from your mom or your care giver or that you have impart to your loved ones that had made a positive difference in you and their life. Sometimes a simple recipe can open the heart, rekindles the spirit, and move ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. It touches the soul of the readers and helps them to discover within themselves their inner strength that has been dormant all this while. We are at our best when we help others to be at their best, and this is what making a positive difference is all about – one individual at a time, one family at a time, one community, which leads to one nation at a time! From My Mama’s Kitchen™ concept is about sharing stories of unconditional motherly love and motherly words of wisdom from anyone to everyone. A good “food for the soul, recipes for living” story has emotion, passion, bonding, and fun. Emotion – It needs to have feelings. Submission Story Specifications: 1. Please submit your “recipe for living” story by clicking here. 2. By submitting your story you agree to allow us (From My Mama’s Kitchen™) to share it publicly on our website and in our future books or other publications with your full consent and with your full understanding that you will not receive any compensation for it. 3. Please limit your recipe for living story to range in length between 300-1200 words. 4. No anonymous or author unknown submissions will be accepted. The only way to receive an acknowledgment of your submission at this time is by submitting through our website. When submitting through the website, you will be taken to our contact page and before you click on the “submit form” button located on the bottom right of the screen please make sure to put a check mark in the box located on the left hand side of the screen under the “Time to send it to us” header so that you will get a copy of your submission emailed to you as well.
